Infinite Digits

tapefold’s website and tape scene are by Infinite Digits. The browser scene adapts the project’s JUCE interface: a planar strip with bending, approximate self-contact, and a continuous guided return. It is an illustrative visual simulation.

The signal-path animation adapts the opening scene from the project’s wiki. It uses independent magnetic histories, idealized head fields, and reciprocal readout. Erasure is schematic and graph levels are matched for comparison. This teaching model is separate from the plugin’s audio engine.

IBM Plex

Type is set in IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono, designed by IBM. The fonts are distributed unmodified under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

The web foundation

The site is built with Django. Tape rendering uses the browser’s WebGL and Canvas APIs. No third-party tape illustrations or DSP code are included in the browser scene.
